CERVA is a modular furniture design with a multi-functional purpose. This piece of furniture is dedicated to small flats. The furniture is entirely made of recycled material – SMILE PLASTICS® boards, made of plastic waste. The object can be used in several ways – as a sitting stool, a coffee table or side table and – when joined into modules – as a longer bench or a larger coffee table. The stools can be stacked to save space. To connect the stools into modules, one can use an individually designed 3D printed connector made of biodegradable polyactide with the addition of a natural rubber.
